SUMMARY

As part of the effort to maximize yield, during the weeks beginning April 18 and April 25, Purdue MarCom is providing social media assets for our campus partners to post to their accounts, urging students to accept their offer as we sprint to the May 1 deadline.

Purdue MarCom has provided some assets for campus communicators and recruiters to use on their own channels.

Directions for finding and using frames:

  1. On your Facebook profile page, click the camera icon on your profile picture.
  2. Click ‘add frame’ and search for a frame by entering Purdue terms such as: BoilerUp, Purdue legacy, Purdue legacy continues, our Purdue legacy continues, black and gold, gold and black, Boilermakers, Purdue University, Purdue.
  3. Choose the frame you want to use from the results.
  4. Click ‘Use as Profile Picture’

LINKS AND UTM PARAMETERS

When linking to Purdue websites from social platforms or emails, it is recommended that UTM parameters be added to the URL in order to provide reporting on the activity. The Marketing and Communications campaign URL builder allows you to easily configure these links and even request shortened Purdue-branded links.
