Does your Degree Angle Pass the Eye Test?
We’ve talked a lot about the correct degree of angle to use in design (spoiler alert, it’s 77-degrees), but another way to check is to follow the angle of the Acumin Italic font. Attached is a quick visual example. You can see from the blue and pink lines in the left-hand example that the incorrect angle sets up visual tension with the italic text elements, whereas the right-hand example does not (this one passes the eye test).
