What is the “Add Yours” Button on Instagram Stories?
Instagram has just rolled out a new button to engage with your audiences on Instagram stories. This button is called the “Add Yours” button. This update allows people to engage with users to either start a chain of responses to a prompt or question.
This is a great way to enhance the Purdue sense of community. When people see this sticker on an Instagram story it prompts them to reply to the chain with their own idea or photo that relates to the question or idea on the sticker.
As an example, the sticker could say, “Share a #Boilermaker moment.” When people see this sticker on stories, they can click on it and add their own photo or story that relates to their times at Purdue.
How to create an “Add Yours” Story on IG:
- Open Instagram.
- Tap on your story to add a story.
- Once you add a story, click on the face sticker option in the top right-hand corner.
- Select the button “Add Yours.”
- Write the prompt for the sticker.
- Select “Done.”
- Post to your story!
