SRX and Purdue University in Indianapolis Collaboration

Purdue University teamed up with the Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) to highlight the university’s new urban campus in Indianapolis and the only accredited undergraduate motorsports engineering program in the country.

A Golden Opportunity Partnership

The goal of this collaboration with SRX for the 2023 season was to further promote Purdue University in Indianapolis and its unique motorsports engineering program. The SRX Series features racing legends from across the motorsports industry who compete in six weeks of races at some of the country’s most famous short tracks.

Revving Up the Excitement 

From the initial announcement of the partnership, a thorough distribution plan was built to ensure excitement and promotion of Purdue’s new urban campus over a six-week period. We posted three times per week on social channels leading up to each race on Thursday night to highlight the series and encourage our audiences to learn more about Purdue University in Indianapolis and the motorsports engineering degree.  

The team also launched a :30 motorsports video midseason that highlights all the amazing opportunities students can have as part of the motorsports program. 

Leveraging SRX Legends

We strategically secured two Indianapolis icons, Tony Kanaan and Helio Castroneves, to represent Purdue University in Indianapolis during the SRX season. Both drivers took it upon themselves to promote the Indianapolis campus on their own social media pages, as well as share our content throughout the season.  

This level of activation, coupled with our new :30 motorsports video and key storytelling content throughout the season, resulted in increased awareness and overall key branding moments for Purdue University in Indianapolis.
