Promoting West Lafayette’s curb appeal

Housing markets across the country made headlines throughout 2021, but one nearly topped them all: Indiana’s humble West Lafayette.

It was both a surprise and no surprise, and news well-worth amplifying.

Purdue Marketing Communications was happy to tell a story just beyond the purview of the University but certainly near to our hearts. We produced a robust content package including a summary, strategy, and social media guidance, as well as a primary story highlighting West Lafayette’s recognition and five supporting vignettes, in which residents celebrate their hometown.

Through a mix of paid and organic media, we extended the reach of the WSJ-Realtor.com coverage, including a respectable showing on YouTube, considering an audience accustomed to stories centered on the University.
